Frequently asked questions

Why are Japanese Pokémon cards popular in India compared to English sets?

Many Indian collectors prefer Japanese Pokémon cards because they are the "source" material. Sets like MEGA Dream ex (M2a) or Inferno X (M2) often release months before their English counterparts. Additionally, Japanese cards are renowned for superior holofoil quality, unique silver borders, and exclusive Art Rare (AR) and Special Art Rare (SAR) designs that hold high collective value.

How do I know the Pokémon cards from Amusement Barn are authentic?

Authenticity is our priority. Every booster box and individual card, from Fezandipiti ex to Mega Heracross ex, is sourced directly through verified Japanese distribution channels. We do not deal in "unsealed" or "searched" packs, ensuring every customer in India receives factory-sealed products with untampered pull rates.

What do the rarities AR, RR, and SAR mean in Japanese sets?

These represent the rarity tiers in modern Japanese sets (2023–2026). RR (Double Rare) typically features powerful "ex" Pokémon. AR (Art Rare) features full-bleed illustrations of standard Pokémon, while SAR (Special Art Rare) represents the highest tier of collectability, combining textured foil with intricate, story-driven artwork.

What is the difference between HG, RG, and MG Gundam kits?

It comes down to scale and detail. High Grade (HG) is 1/144 scale and beginner-friendly. Real Grade (RG) is also 1/144 but features advanced "Real MS Framework" for extreme poseability. Master Grade (MG) is a larger 1/100 scale with internal skeletons and high piece counts. We currently stock a deep range of HG kits and are rapidly expanding our RG and MG inventory for the Indian market.

Do I need glue or paint to build the Gundam kits sold at Amusement Barn?

Most modern Bandai Spirits kits we stock are "Snap-Fit," meaning they require no glue. They are also molded in color, so painting is optional. However, we recommend a basic "Nippper" (side cutter) to cleanly remove parts from the plastic runners for the best finish on your Mobile Suit.

How long does shipping take for orders within India?

We ship all orders from our office in Mumbai. Depending on your location (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, etc.), delivery typically takes 3–5 business days. We use premium couriers to ensure your hobby supplies and high-value cards arrive in mint condition.

How are high-value "Single Cards" protected during transit?

We understand the importance of "Mint" condition. Every single card is sleeved, and sandwiched between cardboard before being bubble-wrapped. Whether it’s a standard Double Rare or a high-value SAR, we pack every order as enthusiasts, for enthusiasts.

Can I request specific Japanese hobby items not listed on the site?

Yes! As a dedicated Japanese merchandise specialist in India, we often take "Special Interest" requests for specific Pokémon sets or Gunpla kits. Contact us via our social channels or the WhatsApp, and we will do our best to source it for your collection.
